I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Thon Hotel in Oslo, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The highlight for me was the dining experience - the free light dinner included in the price was a delicious surprise, and the breakfast spread at Brasserie Paleo was superb, with a wide array of choices to suit every palate.Moreover, the room itself was a true oasis of comfort. The memory foam mattress on the bed made for the best night's sleep I've had in a long time, and the double shower heads in the bathroom felt like a luxurious spa retreat. The attention to detail was impeccable, with free toiletries provided and even a comfortable wing-backed chair for relaxation.In terms of practicalities, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring Oslo, with easy access to popular attractions and dining options within walking distance. The added convenience of having tea and coffee facilities in the room, along with complimentary water, truly enhanced my stay. The Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz provided me with a 5-star experience, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Oslo.
